Now you see them; now you don't!
For a couple of brief seconds near the beginning of the parade -- at 9:29, right after the Maragos family, our Honorary Parade Marshals, had passed my spot on Main Street -- there was a roar overhead, as two A-10 fighter jets zoomed across the sky, from north to south. Yes, I got a picture -- but just barely!Sue Ramagli did us one better, going over to Batten Airport to check out the jets and take some better pictures. Latest word, she says, is that the jets won't take off until tomorrow.
