Hundreds of people turned out Saturday for the "Root River Revival" at the REC Center off of West Sixth Street. Perfect weather greeted the event, which kicked off the paddling season on the Root River. It was also an opportunity for the REC to dedicate its new deck, get kids fishing and to share information on everything from invasive species to eating healthy.
