She will receive one of 20 Green Bay Packers Community Quarterback Awards. The award is designed to honor volunteers who exemplify leadership, dedication, creativity and a commitment to improving the communities in which they live through volunteerism.Rigden has been volunteering through the Volunteer Center of Racine County for 10 years. In the past year, she has logged over 967 hours with the Volunteer Center – 828 in the area of sexual assault support and services.
Rigden will be honored at a recognition dinner on Thursday, Jan. 21, in the Legends Club at Lambeau Field. The Volunteer Center of Racine County will be awarded a $1,000 grant on her behalf.
Barb is a very deserving person to receive this honor. She has been volunteering for years and always doing it with a smile on her face. God Bless you !
